It is one of the hardest professions to attain a MD/DDS/Pharm D in the United States and it not only takes passion, dedication and personal and financial sacrifices. The Academy at Harvard Square develops the program of MD/DDS/Pharm D career path for all students who want to be a medical professional doctor. This education program is basically planned for a long-term, even starting early as middle school or high school students.

For current medical doctor, we develop the Foreign MD Placement Program. This program is appropriate for all medical doctors who want to develop and extend the career of specialty in the US hospital.

Path toward the Goal

    Middle/High School education at Greater Boston (one of best school in USA) (4-8 years) with TOEFL score- admission process

  • Step 2

    Pre-college program

    • TOEFL & SAT prep at The Academy at Harvard Square (6-12 months)
    • Admission process to College in USA (4-6months)
  • Step 3

    Pre-Med program (Science concentration: 4 years)

    • Pre-Medical program at The University of Massachusetts Boston
  • Step 4

    Medical school admission preparation (6 months)

    • MCAT (Medical College Admission Test)

    Conditions for Applying to Medical Schools

    • Hold a baccalaureate degree or graduate degree from a college or university in your country of origin or from a university located in the continental United States or Canada
    • Complete all medical school prerequisite course requirements at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college or university
    • Have taken the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) in the past 3 years
    • Be able to demonstrate both spoken and written English language proficiency (TOEFL)
    • Obtain appropriate visa status in the United States (F1)
    • International citizen applicants will be expected to assume total responsibility for financing their medical education. They should be prepared to present detailed financial plans of how they will provide the resources necessary to meet expenses, including tuition at the non-resident rate.

    Medical School Study (4 years)

    Medical schools teach mainly the curriculum of subjects such as human anatomy, biochemistry, pharmacology, immunology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesiology, internal medicine, family medicine, surgery, psychiatry, genetics, and pathology. Our students have the ability to apply to medical schools located in USA or Canada.

Foreign MD Placement Program (Special Program for Current MDs)

This program provides an opportunity of the medical career development for all foreign MDs in US health care system. The partner program is currently available and affiliated with Harvard Medical School that located in the Greater Boston, Massachusetts. The program is the short/long term exchange program (1-4 years).
